If you have a favourite god or goddess and would like to write a short essay (about a page), we will consider including it in our Ancient Egypt section stating you as the author. You may, of course, prefer to use a nom de plume.

Don't worry if your are not English, or your English is not up to a high level of skill. We will correct any spelling or grammar. Unfortunately we are unable to accept entries in Arabic at the moment, but are particularly interested in receiving entrants from Egyptian people.

If you have an essay you would like to be included, just p.m. me (Horus) or the Administrator and we will tell you how you can send it to us.

Are you taking Arabic scripts now as I see that you have an Arabic translation of The Colossi of Memnon on the Guide Site?

Everything on the site is currently being translated into Arabic. There are currently about 60 pages in the pipeline. They should all be uploaded by the end of this month, depending on the translators and how fast they get things done. I understand that the entire site will also be translated into German and possibly French in the very near future, but there is a great deal of work to be done to the site yet and the other translations will need to wait until more of this has been done.

Bean Raider is exactly right - and he/she should know as she has been organizing the translations for us.

We have very recently received another two extremely interesting essays for translation this morning, and I am just about to send them over to Bean Raider for translation so that our Egyptian readers can also have the benefit of them.

We are a little behind still with the uploading and a huge back-log waiting, but we promise to keep at it until the forum is fully uploaded.

Horus, the moderator who was looking after this section sadly died in March 2009. The section on Gods and Goddesses on the main site still needs expanding. The site generates a lot of interest, especially the section on old photographs so if you wish to be part of this information site then just send us a script of your favourite God or Goddess or any other aspect of Luxor, and we will upload it.
